CHANGE – it’s a constant in North Carolina, now more than ever. How do leaders lead in a state of change?

Join thought leaders from across the state for the 2017 Leadership North Carolina Forum on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Fidelity Investments in Research Triangle Park, as we explore North Carolina’s “Leadership in a State of Change.”

Who should attend?

Leadership North Carolina’s annual flagship event is designed for business, nonprofit, government and community leaders from across North Carolina seeking a conversation about the most critical issues facing the state today.  The forum also provides a sample of the LNC experience for leaders who are new to the program, and one of the most significant engagement and networking opportunities of the year for LNC alumni.

What to expect?

This year’s new format is collaborative and dynamic, providing opportunities for informative conversations and facilitated dialogue among participants.  Anita Brown-Graham of the UNC School of Government sets the stage with a conversation on how North Carolina can make better decisions based on data.  MDC’s David Dodson will lead a session on how to build North Carolina’s economic future, leveraging the five LNC content areas of economic development, education, environment, government, and health and human services.  We’ll wrap up the day with a facilitated discussion on action steps for Leadership in a State of Change.

Agenda: (8:00am – 1:45pm)

  • Continental Breakfast:  Registration and Making Connections
  • Opener:  The Power of Data and Dialogue
  • Session:  North Carolina’s Economic Future:  Building an Infrastructure of Opportunity
  • Lunch:  Networking
