WHAT IS LEADERSHIP NORTH CAROLINA?

Leadership North Carolina is an independent, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that engages current and emerging leaders from across the state through the Leadership North Carolina Program and ongoing networking and service opportunities.

Leadership North Carolina’s mission is to inform, develop, and engage committed leaders by broadening their understanding of and involvement in issues and opportunities facing the state.

Each year LNC recruits committed individuals interested in learning more about their state and connecting with fellow leaders. Through innovative programming, LNC teaches these engaged citizens about the challenges and opportunities facing North Carolina and offers tools to turn their knowledge into action for the benefit of the state.

LNC promotes ongoing networking and education among alumni and current program participants through its monthly Lunch and Learn series, service opportunities within the Red Thread project, and the annual LNC Forum.
