Leadership North Carolina Awards
Next week Leadership North Carolina will present our three annual awards to North Carolinians who have made a significant impact in the state. Dr. Jim and Mrs. Ann Goodnight will be presented with the Leadership North Carolina Governor’s Award at a ceremony at the North Carolina State Capitol. The Goodnights are receiving LNC’s highest honor to recognize their contributions and leadership impacting the state’s economy, education, and the arts. SAS served as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2014 LNC Forum and to date there are six SAS executives who are alumni of LNC.
The L. Richardson Preyer Alumni Award will be presented to Carr Ipock, chairman of the Craven County Board of Education and alumnus of LNC Class I, during the May 8 graduation ceremony at the North Carolina State Capitol. During the May 8 ceremony, the LNC Class XXI recipient of the Stanley Frank Class Award will be revealed. Stay tuned for the announcement of the 2014 recipient of this prestigious award.
