LNC Welcomes Class XX
Fifty-two leaders from across the state have been selected from a highly competitive applicant pool to join Leadership North Carolina’s twentieth class. The members of LNC Class XX come from the state’s business, government, and nonprofit sectors and represent the geographical diversity of the state from New Hanover County in the southeast to Watauga County in the northwest.
Over the next seven months this group will meet in locations around the state for sessions that include presentations, simulations, tours, experiential learning activities, and dialogue. They will learn about the challenges and opportunities facing North Carolina in the areas of government, economic development, education, the environment, and health and human services. Participants will learn strategies for turning their knowledge into action and for leveraging resources for the benefit of their communities and the state as a whole. The Class XX roster can be found here. For more information about the LNC program, contact LNC’s program director, Kelly Turner, at Kelly@leadershipnc.org or (919) 803-5325.
