Tuesday, October 6
Note that the standard hotel check-in time is 4:00 pm for both hotels.  Please plan to check in when you return from the evening reception.

  • 1:30 pm: Arrival window.  Please plan to arrive between 1:30 and 2:00 pm to grab a snack and get settled for a prompt 2:00 pm start.
  • 2:00 pm: Session begins at the Riverfront Convention Center (RCC) in Ballroom B. 
  • 4:45 pm: Class picture outside the The View space on the Veranda
  • 5:00 pm: Session reception in the The View space

 

Wednesday, October 7

  • 8:00 am: Breakfast (optional–advance RSVP required through attendance survey) – Ballroom B
  • 8:30 am: Session starts – Ballroom B
  • 4:30 pm: Free time
  • 6:30 pm: Class dinner (required) – Stanly Hall Ballroom

Attire

Attire for all Orientation session programming at the Riverfront Convention Center is business casual unless otherwise noted.  “Business casual” means you don’t need to be in a suit but you should look polished and professional.  We will go straight from the Tuesday afternoon session to the class picture and then the welcoming reception.  If you have a favorite picture day outfit, wear it on Tuesday.

Attire for the required Wednesday class dinner at the Stanly Hall Ballroom is casual.

We work hard to have a comfortable room temperature in all meeting locations, but “comfortable” is different for everyone.  We recommend layers or bringing a light sweater or jacket just in case.

 

Meals and Snacks

LNC believes in keeping you well-fueled by presenting a variety of options at meals and breaks.  Breakfasts are always optional but encouraged.  Breakfasts provide an extra opportunity to engage with your classmates, reflect on session content, and settle in for the day ahead.  You will have an opportunity to RSVP for breakfast through the attendance survey.  The Wednesday class dinner is required and counts towards the program attendance requirement.
