William Garrett Fund

The William Garrett Fund was established in honor of Leadership North Carolina’s chairman emeritus to ensure that leaders from every corner of North Carolina have the opportunity to participate in this powerful experience and that tuition is never a barrier to qualified candidates. Each year, members of the current class set a financial goal to provide need-based scholarship support for future participants. One-hundred percent of each tax-deductible contribution goes toward this fund, cultivating a cadre of outstanding leaders from across our state.

Scholarships provided through the Garrett Fund typically range from $500 to $2,000 towards the full program fee of $5,250. The average scholarship is $1,350. Individual award amounts are based on demonstrated need and overall requests for assistance.
