LNC is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions to LNC are deemed charitable under section 501(a) of the internal revenue code. Please consult your accountant for any clarifications.

Donations are greatly appreciated and are securely processed through Authorize.net . Authorize.net protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use Authorize.net, your financial information is not shared with LNC. Once your payment is complete, you will receive an email receipt for this transaction.

Employer Matching Gift

Many employers will match tax-deductible charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and employees’ spouses. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Please contact your employer for details regarding the opportunity to make your gift to LNC have a greater impact.

Gifts of Stock

A gift of stock to Leadership North Carolina ensures that leaders ready to leverage their influence to benefit North Carolina experience top-notch programming whether as participant or as an alum. Gifts of appreciated stock allow donors to bypass capital gains taxes and receive a charitable tax deduction. Please notify Leadership North Carolina of your intent to transfer stock by completing the Notification of Stock Transfer Form and email or mail to:

Gifts of stock will be recorded on the day the stock is received in our brokerage account, at the median market value on that day. You will receive written acknowledgment to confirm receipt of your gift.

Planned Giving

Ensure the legacy of Leadership North Carolina by considering a planned gift. Deferred gifts are the ultimate expression of confidence in LNC. Because all deferred gifts represent an expression of lifetime commitment to LNC, there are no minimum gift levels.

Deferred gifts include:

  • bequest intentions in a will
  • charitable gift annuities
  • charitable trusts
  • designating LNC as a beneficiary of a retirement account
  • designating LNC as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or the donation of a policy
