Leadership North Carolina is committed to serving all of North Carolina. LNC has alumni or current participants representing all of North Carolina’s 100 counties, but many parts of the state remain underrepresented in the LNC network. Our 100 County Initiative supports recruitment of and participation by leaders from these parts of the state.
100 County Initiative Scholarship
Through a generous grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield North Carolina and resources from LNC’s William Garrett Fund, we are better able to support statewide participation in the program. Applicants from counties historically underrepresented in the LNC program will receive priority consideration for 100 County Initiative Scholarship funding to offset a portion of the program fee. 100 County Initiative funding is very limited – meeting the county requirement is not a guarantee of support.
Apply for a 100 County Initiative Scholarship
To be considered for scholarship support through the 100 County Initiative Scholarship, prospective LNC participants must complete the full online program application as well as the separate online scholarship application. Both applications will be available on the Apply page of the LNC website during the annual application window in June.
