MK Melton serves as the program associate at Leadership NC, bringing over 9 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with specializations in policy, advocacy, and organizational leadership. MK’s academic background, combined with her extensive experience in program management, community engagement, and partnership building, uniquely positions her to contribute to LNC’s mission.

Outside of work, MK is an avid fan of the TV show “The Office” and enjoys practicing yoga, exploring Eno River State Park with friends, and spending quality time with her dog, Ellie.
