MK Melton serves as the program associate at Leadership North Carolina, bringing over nine years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with specializations in policy, advocacy, and organizational leadership. MK’s academic foundation, paired with her extensive experience in program management, community engagement, and partnership development, uniquely positions her to support LNC’s mission.

Outside of work, MK is an avid fan of the The Office and enjoys practicing yoga, exploring Eno River State Park with friends, and spending time with her family and dog, Bailey.
