Ben Kinney is publisher of Business North Carolina and SouthPark magazines.

Business North Carolina is a statewide business publication that focuses on the people, industry and trends that make up the state’s diverse economy.  In its 38-year history, BNC has won over 120 national awards for editorial and design excellence including recognition as the 2012 “Best Regional Business Magazine” in the country by the Alliance of Area Business Publishers.

SouthPark has been Charlotte’s leading luxury lifestyle publication for over 20 years. Its editorial features in-depth interviews with local celebrities, fashion shoots and remarkable venues around Charlotte, as well as a wide array of editorial covering home design, food and drink, travel, shopping, the sporting life and more.

He has served on the boards of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the Alliance of Area Business Publications and serves on NC State alumni magazine’s advisory group as well as on the leadership committee of the board of directors for the NC State Alumni Association. He is active in the North Carolina Committee for Business and Education, North Carolina Economic Developers Association and is a graduate of Leadership North Carolina. Ben and his wife, Charlotte, have two sons and live in Charlotte.
