Curt Ladig is president and CEO of Delta Dental of North Carolina, the leading dental insurer in North Carolina. Under Ladig’s leadership, Delta Dental of North Carolina has grown its customer base by 550 percent, has attained the largest network of dentists in the state, and has become the fastest-growing Delta Dental in the country.

A staunch advocate for improving access to quality oral health care services, Ladig started Smiles for Kids, a mini-grant program that helps at-risk children receive direct oral care services and oral health education. In its first ten years of service, Smiles for Kids has contributed more than $600,000 and has helped close to 400,000 children and their families across North Carolina.

Ladig is active in the community, serving on the Boards of Directors of the Poe Center for Health Education, Leadership North Carolina, NC Chamber, and the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce. He was recognized as a C-Suite Award Winner by the Triangle Business Journal in 2020.

Before joining Delta Dental of North Carolina in 2011, Ladig was the chief financial and operating officer of Delta Dental of Kentucky. He began his career with Ernst & Young in Louisville, Kentucky, where he served clients in the health care and energy industries. After his service with Ernst & Young, he worked for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield as executive director of audit services.
