Sarah Hall is a 24-year North Carolina public servant and Director of the Institute for Emerging Issues (IEI) at NC State University. Sarah provides insight and support for multi-sector programs including Emerging Issues Forums; and engages key stakeholders on issues important to North Carolina’s vibrancy and economic competitiveness. Prior to IEI, Sarah worked at the NC Division of Public Health, NC Department of Public Instruction and UNC Chapel Hill working on adolescent health issues. Sarah received her Master of Public Health from the University at Albany, was recently recognized as a TBJ Peak 25 (2023) and an alumnus of Leadership North Carolina. She has been a Wake County Guardian ad Litem volunteer with children in foster care since 2010.
