Thank you for submitting your application to Leadership North Carolina’s Core Program for Class 34 (2026-2027).
Your two letters of recommendation and your $80 application fee must also be submitted directly to LNC by the June 24, 2026, deadline. It is your responsibility to request your two recommendation letters. Forward this link to your references for them to submit letters through our online form by June 24 at 5 pm.
Please protect the following dates in the event you are invited to participate in Class 34:
- October 6-8, 2026: Orientation Session, New Bern*
- November 4-6, 2026: Government Session, Raleigh (note Wed. – Fri. schedule)
- December 1-3, 2026: Education Session, Greensboro
- January 11-12 OR January 14-15, 2027: Inclusive Leadership Training, Durham* (hold both sets of dates)
- January 21, 2027, 4 – 6 pm: Inclusive Leadership Training Full-Class Reflections (virtual)
- February 2-4, 2027: Health and Human Services Session, Greenville
- March 2-4, 2027: Economic Development Session, Charlotte
- April 6-8, 2027: Environment Session, Asheville
- May 4-5, 2027: Planning Meeting/Graduation, Raleigh
*Attendance at all of Orientation and at all components of one Inclusive Leadership Training (two days) is mandatory. Attendance across the remaining sessions must meet the requirements outlined in the Program Protocols included in the application materials.
Application window: June 1 – June 24, 2026
