Leadership North Carolina Transition Announcement
Dear Leadership North Carolina (LNC) Alumni, members of LNC Class 33, LNC Sponsors, and Friends,
After 19 years of service and a deep love for the mission we all share, Brian has made the decision to step down as president of Leadership North Carolina by the end of this program year. LNC and our state have greatly benefited from Brian’s leadership, kindness and commitment to serve. In his nearly two decades, Brian, along with his incredible team, has strengthened the LNC experience ensuring meaningful engagement, enduring connections and a powerful alumni base of more than 1,500 leaders across the state and beyond.
We invite you to watch this video message from Brian as he reflects on his time with LNC.
We have every confidence that LNC’s next chapter will be marked by the same spirit of collaboration and impact that has defined our work to date.
As we look toward the future, Leadership North Carolina is in very strong and capable hands. Our Board of Directors and staff are fully aligned and committed to ensuring that Class 33 has an outstanding experience. We are equally invested in continuing to serve our alumni network who move North Carolina forward every day.
While this is a transition, it is also an exciting new chapter for Leadership North Carolina. We recently adopted an updated Strategic Plan to continue our work with four areas of focus: Strengthen Capacity, Engage Alumni, Increase Awareness, and Reflect North Carolina.
We are excited for Brian as he embarks on a new chapter and look forward to continuing to build on his great work going forward. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.
With thanks,
Brian Etheridge
